FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How we work, what it costs, and what we build with.

Working together

What kinds of projects do you take on?

Custom web applications, SaaS products and MVPs, payment and API integrations, modernization of existing .NET applications, and marketing websites. See our services for details. If your project doesn’t fit, we’ll tell you - and try to point you to someone who’s a better match.

How does a project get started?

Send us a note through the contact form. We’ll schedule a short call to understand what you need, then follow up with a discovery proposal that outlines scope, a phased plan, and a budget range. Read more about how we work.

How is the finished software provided?

Under a written license agreement that spells out how you can use the software, where it runs, and what support is included. We walk through the terms with you during discovery, before any build work starts.

Can you work with our existing team?

Yes. We regularly work alongside in-house developers - pairing on architecture, reviewing code, or owning a specific part of the system - and we write documentation your team can actually use.

Do you offer support after launch?

Yes. Most clients keep us on a monthly retainer for enhancements, fixes, and framework upgrades. Support terms are part of your agreement, so you know what’s covered up front.

Budgets & pricing

How do you price projects?

Discovery is a small fixed-fee engagement. Build phases are estimated per phase, so you can see - and approve - the cost of each milestone before it starts. Ongoing support is a monthly retainer.

What does a typical project cost?

It depends heavily on scope. A focused marketing site and a full SaaS platform are very different investments. Pick a budget range on the contact form and we’ll be upfront about what’s realistic within it.

Technical

What technology stack do you use?

Our core stack is .NET (ASP.NET Core, EF Core) on the backend, Vue 3 and TypeScript on the frontend, PostgreSQL for data, and Astro for marketing sites - with Stripe and SendGrid for payments and email. See the full list.

Can you integrate payments into our platform?

Yes. We build with Stripe, including Stripe Connect for platforms that collect money on behalf of their own customers and pay it out to them. That includes webhook reconciliation, fee handling, and ledger records - not just a checkout button.

How do you make sure the software works?

Automated tests from day one: unit tests for business rules, and integration tests that run the real API against a real, throwaway PostgreSQL database. Plus regular demos so you can see features working, not just hear about them.

Still have questions?

We’re happy to answer them directly - no sales pitch required.
